ENNA, the products of the Valle del Dittaino and Gustibus will be at the center of the visit of the 8 buyers from Wegmans Supermarket.
The buyers, that on Wednesday, April 19, will visit the two establishments in the Enna industrial region, in the territory of the Valle del Dittaino, will choose the labels to introduce at their 95 Wegmans stores in the United States, distributed as follows: 46 in New York, 17 in Pennsylvania, 9 in New Jersey, 10 in Virginia, 8 in Maryland and 5 in Massachusetts.
The initiative serves to create a channel for Sicilian products in the US distribution network that will also be supported by a promotion and marketing activity for Sicilian products within the 95 supermarkets.
Wegman will put on the calendar a month dedicated to “Gustoso”, the Business Network of which Valle del Dittaino and Gustibus are part, where Sicilian cuisine and tradition is celebrated by showcasing the Sicilian products on the counters of gastronomy, restaurants, tastings.
This visit of buyers in Sicily precedes the inclusion of counter products for October 2018, based on the arrival of the product, the training of staff and the development of a marketing plan.
